During the Summer Game Fest, we saw the announcement of a new part of the Civilization 4X turn-based strategy series. The game with the Roman numeral VII was presented 8 years after the release of the last, sixth volume. But it will appear on the market quite soon.
A new trailer was shown at today’s Opening Night Live event, showing off gameplay for the first time. While it was only a small snippet, a full showcase will take place shortly after the end of ONL.
Either way, we have a release date that is just around the corner. Civilization VII will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on February 11, 2025.
