Together with our partner Česká spořitelna we are launching the largest European gaming event.

Last year, the Final Fantasy series got a new entry, number 16, which scored 9 out of 10 in our review. The game was originally released only on PS5, but the developers made no secret that there was a PC version in the works. In the end, we had to wait for it for quite a while, but more than a year after the PS5 version was released, it’s finally here.

Today, Square Enix released a trailer showing off the PC version, and the product pages on Steam and Epic Games Store were immediately launched. The main thing, of course, is the release date, which is set for September 17 this year. But if you don’t want to wait, you can already download the demo completely free of charge, which should be identical in content to the PS5 demo, thus offering a relatively long introduction to the entire game.

We can also find the hardware requirements on Steam. The minimum target is 30 fps and 720p resolution, requiring a Ryzen 5 1600 or Core i5-8400 CPU and a Radeon RX 5700, GeForce GTX 1070, or Arc A580 graphics card. The recommended requirements target 1080p, 60 fps, and require a Ryzen 7 5700X or Core i7-10700 CPU and a Radeon RX 5700 XT or GeForce RTX 2080 graphics card. Both tables require 16 GB of RAM and 170 GB of storage, with an SSD also required.

As for the price, Basic Edition you can buy for 49.99 euro. This is also available complete edition with both expansions, Echoes of the Fallen and The Rising Tide, which you’ll have to pay for 69.99 euro.
