“After nearly ten years at Quantic Dream, I’m leaving to start a new studio with a group of very talented designers and developers,” Adam Williams reported on Linkedin. He and his team are working on something “very innovative, very unique, and at the moment very mysterious.” We should know more information soon.
At the same time, Williams thanked the guys from Quantic Dream and Lucasfilm for everything related to Detroit and Eclipse. “It was a great adventure” he added.
Star Wars Eclipse was announced in December/December 2021 at The Game Awards. At the time, the game was in early development. However, there have been reports of development problems for some time. The script is likely already done, and Williams’ departure should not affect Eclipse. The game could hit the market in 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
According to available information, it will be “Star Wars Eclipse”. part of the Star Wars canon. The game is supposed to take place during the peak Republic era, which is several hundred years before the events of the Skywalker film saga in the Star Wars timeline and currently the setting that receives the most attention in books and comics.
