Sequel to original shooter Splitgate revealed in new footage

One of the main problems with modern shooters is that they often fail to stand out from the crowd. However, this is definitely not the case with the free FPS Splitgate, which relied on a faster format and portals. In short, it was a combination of Halo and Portal. Over time, despite its qualities, it lost its breath. Now its creators are working on Splitgate 2, which should be a more complex sequel based on the same principles as the first game.

As the recently released gameplay footage shows, this time the creators want to bet on game factions that differ from each other in terms of gameplay. This could probably give the series a new direction. However, it is questionable whether the innovations will be fundamental enough to break through Splitgate 2. The game will be released in 2025 on PC, as well as PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
