The creators are happy with the players’ reaction.
Helldivers 2 is one of those games that is actively in development. The stats are constantly changing, which in practice means that the effectiveness of weapons is not recorded. However, players are not always happy with the news. For example, the latest patch nerfed the flamethrower, which was very popular among the community, and players responded by leaving the game over 2,500 negative reviews on Steam in the name of fixing this issue. While in other places the reaction of customers would clearly upset the creator, the authors of this article have no problem with bad reviews.
In fact, they see them as something natural that games need. Arrowhead CEO Shams Jorjani had this to say about the whole situation: “To be clear, I’m not worried about what’s happening right now. We want people to tell us what they like and what they don’t like.” He said the studio needs to communicate more with the community and be more specific about its plans. Helldivers 2 is currently available on PC and PlayStation 5.
