July brought the release of several larger free projects in the form of First Descendant, Once Upon a Time Man and Stormgate. Among other games that attracted attention were the detective adventure game Nobody Wants to Die, the strategy action game Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, the logical role-playing action game Dungeons of Hinterberg and the Czech strategy Movies Tycoon. Also worth mentioning were the new edition of the F1 Manager series, the role-playing game Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn and the sports game EA Sports College Football 25.
August will see a handful of AAA titles, complemented by a host of mid-sized and smaller titles. The main focus will be Ubisoft’s action-adventure Star Wars Outlaws, an action role-playing game. Black Myth: Vukongz master class from Chinese studio Game Science and multiplayer event Concord from PlayStation.
In addition, players can expect a remaster of the event. Star Wars: Bounty HunterElectronic Arts’ new Madden NFL series or Crytek’s improved Hunt: Showdown with subtitles 1896.
Star Wars: Bounty Hunter

On the first day of August, an improved version of the game Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, which was originally released in 2002 on PlayStation 2 and GameCube consoles, will be released. The remaster for PC, as well as consoles of the past and current generations, is the work of the American studio Aspyr, which specializes in improved versions and ports of old games.
The developers are calling for improved graphics and sound, tweaked controls, and a higher frame rate and resolution. The genre is an action-adventure game in which you play as Jango Fett in the period leading up to the events of Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones.
Hunting: Showdown 1896

In recent years, German studio Crytek has focused mainly on improving the CryEngine gaming technology and supporting the Hunt: Showdown event. The result is a new version of the game called Hunt: Showdown 1896, which will be available on PC and current-gen consoles. On the other hand, previous-gen players will have to say goodbye to the game once and for all with the launch of the new version.
The reason is the transition to the newer CryEngine 5.11, which will bring news and improvements on the technical side. At the same time, players will be treated to a completely new map called Mammon’s Gulch, which will take them to the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, USA. A free update will be prepared for owners of the current version.
NFL Crazy 25

Also vying for attention in mid-August is Electronic Arts, which will release its second sports-themed game of the year. While July saw players play EA Sports College Football 25, set in the college football world, August is set aside for a new installment of the Madden NFL series, dedicated to professional NFL competitions.
Developers at EA Sports are attracted by the large number of game modes, improvements in the field of gameplay and the use of licensed content. Although the game does not attract as much attention here, especially in the US, the brand is among the best-selling games every year.
Black Myth: Wukong

Action RPG Black Myth: Wukong from the not very well-known Chinese studio Game Science managed to attract a really large number of players even before its release. The proof is the rating of the most anticipated games on Steam, at the top of which Black Myth: Wukong has been in the lead for a long time.
The game’s creators offer a full-fledged AAA game that will offer a semi-open game world and a carefully thought-out combat system inspired by some elements of the Souls genre. The plot background taken from the film “The Monkey King” is also of interest.
Concord

PlayStation also has a bigger game lined up for August, specifically the multiplayer event Concord, which is being developed by Sony-owned studio Firewalk. In part, that’s veterans of Bungie, who have brought their experience from developing games like Destiny and Halo to their new game.
It is with these series that Concord is often compared. But at the same time, the game’s rules are aimed at fans of games such as Overwatch 2 or Valorant. In essence, you will find a traditionally configured multiplayer action game with a first-person view, in which two teams of five players will compete with each other. In addition to the emphasis on speed, special abilities and skills of individual characters will also play a role.
Emiyo – The Smiling Man: Detective Club Famicom
