Next week you will be able to try the embroidery game.
Attu Games, a studio created by husband and wife duo Eva and Lukasz Navratil, recently joined by Jakub Špiržík, has been working on the story-driven platformer Scarlet Deer Inn for several years now. Like their debut Feudal Alloy, their current project also catches the eye with its stylization at first glance, but this time it’s a bit more unique, as they use embroidered backgrounds to create the graphics.
Over the last few years, the game has gradually changed its form and was last shown at the Game Access event in Brno, which took place at the turn of May and June. At that time, I had the opportunity to interview Eva Navratilova. So, if you are interested in the game in more detail, you can read the interview.
In it, you will already find information that the developers are preparing a public demo version, which they had to postpone several times within the company. But today, Twitter announced that players will see it very soon, namely 8 August. This will make the game available to the public for the first time, and you can try it out on Steam, as well as add Scarlet Deer Inn to your wishlist.
The full version won’t be out this year, but in June Eve estimated a release for the first half of next year, so hopefully everything goes according to plan. The game will be coming to PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, though it’s already playable on portables like the Steam Deck or ROG Ally.
