Todd Howard Responds to Criticism of Paid Starfield Mods

After a relative lull, Starfield has recently come under fire again. The reason for the players’ anger was the addition of paid modifications, which, according to the majority of the community, should have been free. The criticism was so strong that even Todd Howard decided to comment on it. He presented to the world that the value of modifications is formed by various parameters, so it is definitely not determined randomly or just by eye. However, he admits that the set prices are not ideal.

But if you’re hoping the Creation Club will disappear, you’re in for a disappointment. Howard himself commented: “Our opinion is that it is enough [tvůrců modifikací Creation Kit] turned fans into professionals. And part of our job is to make sure they can continue to do that and get paid. In short, they see a financial reward if they create amazing content.“That’s what the community wanted to hear – the question. But the thing is, there are quite a few monetized mods for Starfield that you can try out yourself on Xbox Series X/S PC, as well as through Game Pass.
