Ubisoft has released additional footage and information about the upcoming Star Wars Outlaws event via IGN. The video above combines previously unseen gameplay footage with developer commentary from Massive Entertainment. The authors describe, for example, structure and size of the open game worldwhich complements the narrative. You will watch it from the point of view of the main character Kay Vess and her furry companion named Nix.
In other parts of the video, the developers introduce individual planets, environments, and battles in outer space. Since it is an open-world game, in addition to the main missions, the game will also offer a number of side quests and activities, as well as gradual character upgrades. However, the developers emphasize that this will still be more of an open-world action adventure that has no ambitions to compete with large-scale RPGs. Star Wars Outlaws will be released on August 30 on PC (Epic Games Store) and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
