The original Dead Rising was released in 2006 as an Xbox 360 exclusive. It tells the story of journalist Frank West, who is trapped in a department store by a horde of the undead for several in-game days. The game became especially famous for its humor, coupled with the absurd improvised weapons that, in subsequent games, players could create themselves.
The game received an HD version in 2016 along with two other parts. It was no longer exclusive, it was a release. also for computers and PlayStation consoles. The last part was published in the same year. Dead Rising 4. The future of the brand is unknown, with the exception of the aforementioned Deluxe Remaster. Let’s remember that the studio that has been developing the series since the second part – Capcom Vancouver – was closed in 2018, although the studio is reportedly worked on the fifth volume.
