Developers from New Zealand studio A44 Games announced the release date for Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn at the recent Xbox Games Showcase event. The genre is a role-playing game, which focuses on open world and thoughtful combat system, based on elements of Souls-Lite. In addition to regular melee weapons and the use of special abilities, the game also works with firearms to a limited extent.

The new product also borrows some elements from the studio’s previous game, Ashen, released in 2020. Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn I’ll see you on July 18th, when it comes out on PC (Steam), as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. The game will also expand the Xbox/PC Game Pass library on the same day.
