The fantasy PvPvE action game Dark and Darker managed to please a large number of players already during testing of the developed version on Steam. The developers at Ironmace studio gradually improved the game and were ready to make their game one of the most significant independent hits of recent times. However, the situation became significantly more complicated after the accusation and subsequent lawsuit from the company Nexon, which accused the authors of stealing the assets and source code of a canceled project that was created at Nexon.
This was followed instantly download the game from Steam and sports with the aforementioned South Korean label. In early February, we learned that the court ruled in favor of the Ironmace studio, rejecting Nexon’s lawsuit for lack of evidence. This verdict opened the door for the game to return to Steam, which happened late last week. In addition to Steam, you can also find Dark and Darker on the rival Epic Games Store.
In both cases this is an early access version, which the developers will continue to improve and expand. Basic version of the game too thanks bets on free-to-play model available for free. However, compared to the paid version, you can only create one character and only play in normal mode. Upgrading to the full version will cost you the so-called 15 Redstone shards (game currency), for which you will pay 30 euros. The authors are not yet talking about a possible release on consoles.
