The creators of the Sniper Elite series have come up with an interesting game that may appeal not only to Fallout fans. Studio Rebellion presented it Single-player survival action Atomfall, which will take us to post-nuclear England, where we try to survive. This includes finding useful items, crafting important items, and of course, combat.

Atomfall is set in the UK countryside with idyllic pubs, picturesque villages and red telephone boxes. But when you watch the first trailer, you’ll soon realize that nothing is as it seems. The game is inspired by a real nuclear disaster., which occurred in 1957 in the north of England. Atomfall uses the fear of nuclear war to show what the environment looks like five years after the event. It combines post-war Britain with Cold War paranoia, folk horror and elements of classic British science fiction, including The Time Lord, The Day of the Triffids and The Prisoner. This creates an interesting mix that lacks autonomous mosses and a wonderful underground complex.

If you’re interested in Atomfall, it’s coming to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC in 2025. It will also be available on Game Pass.
