Microsoft has finally shown a new product Perfect darkness in gameplay footage that gives us a good idea of what to expect from this spy thriller. The American company is betting big on the event’s return as it has opened a completely new studio and hired specialists.
Perfect Dark is a near-future secret agent thriller set in a world full of spies, new technology, and secrets.
“In the near future, a series of global disasters will hit the Earth, which will bring ecosystems around the world to the brink of collapse. Become Joanna Dark, an elite DataDyne agent hunting the world’s most wanted criminal, Daniel Carrington. Uncover the secrets of breakthrough technologies that could endanger the lives of millions of people.” we will read in the description.
Today’s video hints at a secret agent mission Joanna Dark (voiced by Alix Regan and visualized by Elissa Bibeau), showed us her descent into near-future Cairo, and then gave us a tantalizing look at all-new secret agent-inspired gameplay.
Perfect Dark will be a single-player game with a series of missions, but how you complete them is up to you. Movement is a great opportunity. The developers had to create an intuitive movement system, followed by a combat system that allows for close combat and shooting, stealth mechanics and free use of gadgets.. The goal is to offer a true secret agent fantasy, and the key to this is allowing players to use different tools and abilities as they see fit.
