Latest free game on Epic Games Store as part of the Mega Sale is a tactical role-playing game. Marvel’s Midnight Suns from the creators of the XCOM series. Previously, Epic was giving away a bloody medieval action game Chivalry 2 and like the first Farming Simulator 22.
You have until 06/13/2024 to claim Marvel’s Midnight Suns, after which the Duke of Ravengard Champions of Glory Bundle will be free for the free-to-play games Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms and Redout 2.
In Marvel’s Midnight Suns you become Hunter, a legendary demon slayer who leads a team of superheroes and supernatural fighters against apocalyptic threats. The game was released in December 2022 and we wrote about it in the review:
Midnight Suns is a game that is difficult to describe or recommend. It’s a quirky combination of a functional and addictive card battle system with something reminiscent of games like Fire Emblem. Building relationships with Marvel heroes is an important part of this game, and the developers should at least be given credit for doing something like this. There are many things and aspects that could be improved less or significantly, but overall this is a game that goes its own way, and those for whom it is intended will have dozens of hours of enjoyment.”
