The sports division of 2K Games, part of Take-Two Interactive (owner of Rockstar Games), was to acquire FIFA license after Electronic Arts was unable to reach an agreement with the Fédération Internationale de Football Association.
The game must have a name FIFA 2K25, modeled after NBA 2K. If reports from Ghanaian retailer @mohplay_inc_ are true, then such a series could happen. EA Sports FC prepare for competitions. The latter is needed like salt after Konami replaced the famous PES with Electronic football and began a free football career.
The seller from Ghana does not write where he got the information from. However, Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson previously hinted that FIFA and 2K were in talks to work together. This may just be @mohplay_inc_ repeating old information and using it to promote their store.
FIFA was one of the best-selling games in the world under EA and was released every year. Now EA Sports FC is taking it further; the best-selling game of 2023 in Europe. So let’s see if FIFA 2K25 releases this year. Some time ago, Gianni Infantino, the president of FIFA, promised that FIFA 25 would be EA Sports FC’s answer.
