Last September, Private Division, publisher of Take-Two Interactive, announced a new Lord of the Rings themed game called Tales of the Shire: The Lord of the Rings Game. Today the game from the New Zealand studio Wētā Workshop received a premiere preview. Many players will probably be surprised that this is a combination of construction strategy and life simulator. The trailer above, for example, features designing your own home in a hobbit village.
Of course, there will be interaction with other inhabitants of this picturesque fantasy world. The developers also add suspense to the story and changing environments, including different seasons.
