Five months after the official reveal, we have the opportunity to see the new volcanic biome in action. Ashlands. The gameplay trailer appeared simultaneously with the launch of public testing on Steam.
Ashlands invites players into the most challenging environment yet Valheim, where the Vikings will have to fight tooth and nail for every inch of territory and try to win. The Ashlands is covered in lava and harbors all sorts of horrors, including Valkyries. You must remember one thing: your base will never be safe. For example, a volcanic eruption can destroy it.
Against new enemies that will be at your disposal new set of fire weapons, which can be further improved with rare gems that change their properties. These new weapons can be further customized, from striking enemies with lightning to using nature spells.
There will be over 30 new weapons, three new armor sets, over 70 craftable items, and over 10 new monsters. Everything will be accompanied by new events, mechanics, music, food and medicine.
Valheim is available for PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. It’s also part of Game Pass.
