Last November, developers from the CD Projekt RED studio announced the official mod editor for the third Witcher. A tool called REDkit this week survived the transition to beta version, which is available for players to select through the Steam Workshop. This reliable and multifunctional tool will greatly simplify the creation of complex game mods. The developers said that players will be able to create their own characters, stories, missions, animations, dialogues and many different objects.

Thanks to its functions, REDkit can significantly expand the capabilities of the game and extend its life cycle. After all, Skyrim and some other games maintain an active fan base largely thanks to modifications. There should be a full release of REDkit sometime this year. You can check out some of the newly released images below. The Witcher 3 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.
