Wizards of the Coast they are already actively thinking about who to entrust the continuation Baldur’s Gate. “We are currently collaborating with many partners. And we have a lot of partners coming to us who want to answer the question of what the future of the Baldur’s Gate series looks like,” says the vice president of the company in an interview with PC Gamer magazine. “We’re certainly hoping that it doesn’t take another 25 years like Baldur’s Gate 2-3 did,” Evans continues, “but we’re taking our time and finding the right partner, the right approach, and the right project that could represent the future of Baldur’s Gate.”
“We have set the bar very high and it is our job to maintain and exceed it,” he adds.
Baldur’s Gate 3 was one of the most awarded games of last year and received several awards as the best game ever. Most recently, he dominated the BAFTA Awards, winning not only in the best play and audience voting categories, but also earning statuettes for music, story and supporting acting.
