The Elder Scrolls series yesterday 30 years have passed since the release of the first volume with the subtitle Arena, which was launched precisely on March 25, 1994. As part of the celebration of this round anniversary, Bethesda representatives they published a short message that also mentioned the upcoming sixth volume. The report states that work on The Elder Scrolls 6 continues, and the developers are currently testing playable versions of early builds.
“We’re already returning to Tamriel and playing early versions of the game, and it fills us with the same joy, excitement and promise of adventure.” add Bethesda developers to the current state of The Elder Scrolls 6.
Despite the mentions of game builds, it is important to note that these are still early builds, the testing of which, of course, does not indicate the imminence of the release of the game itself. Given the current status and expected volume release cannot be expected earlier than in a few years. Earlier estimates mentioned 2028, for example, but it can be assumed that developers who worked on Starfield in the past will join or have already joined the development of the new The Elder Scrolls.
