Dragon’s Dogma 2 is saddled with a bunch of unnecessary microtransactions

Despite receiving high scores from game critics, Dragon’s Dogma 2 isn’t doing very well, at least on Steam. Over 12 thousand reviews currently account for only 39% positive ratings, which is very sad. There are two reasons for criticism among players. One of the main ones for many of them is how the optimization is “managed”, which, however, is an issue not only on PC, but also on different platforms. The second reason why many players are drawn down is microtransactions. These can cost up to 41 euros and contain some of the content that is offered to you in the Deluxe edition.

Some items can even be found while traveling through the game world. In addition to these relatively acceptable works, there are also some that are difficult to accept. In general, the policy of microtransactions in this work is not fully mastered. I wouldn’t be afraid to say that most of the features are more of a crutch to make life easier for those who don’t want to put in too much effort, rather than anything important. It is difficult to understand why the creators of this work decided to go this route. Although, in fairness, their creation in this regard is no exception to the rule. For example, Monster Hunter: World will offer you DLC content for a handsome 541 euros, which is already a decent amount. Therefore, one cannot expect that the community’s reaction will evoke any significant emotions. However, it is hoped that in some cases they will be made available to players for free, easing the anger of a community frustrated by the game’s poor performance. The role-playing game Dragon’s Dogma 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
