Developers from the Teamkill Media studio attracted attention last November Quantum Error release. At first glance, this rather ambitious-looking shooter failed miserably, as evidenced by its 40% rating on aggregator Metacritic, making Quantum Error the fourth worst rated game of 2023.
In addition, the developers themselves promote the game. they tried to take advantage of the console wars, for example, when they talked about the slow Xbox Series SSD. We discussed this dispute in detail in a separate article. Despite loud criticism, the game’s development was able to pay for itself even before release thanks to pre-orders.
Now Teamkill Media studio returns to the stage with with a new title called “Quantum State”., which is the direct successor to the aforementioned Quantum Error. The developers describe their upcoming new feature as a third-person cinematic action game that will focus primarily on story and stealth. Like its predecessor, Quantum State is being developed exclusively for PlayStation 5 and runs on Unreal Engine 5. In the meantime, we’ll have to wait for more details, including a release date.
