Developers FromSoftware are currently mainly focused on Elden Ring and the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, which will release on June 21st. However, the fan community of this famous Japanese studio’s games also devotes itself to other brands and older games through various unofficial projects and modifications. This is among the most ambitious undertakings of recent times. extensive mod for Dark Souls 3 called Dark Souls Archthrones.
However, this project is more like not a standard modification, but an independent game, which is a prequel to the above-mentioned third part. Archthrones have the first row own storyline and side quests. It also offers a total of 17 new bosses created from the ground up, complete with unique weapons and armor. It is also worth paying attention to fully voiced NPC characters and redesigned movement and combat mechanics.
