The second trailer for the multiplayer event has leaked online Spider-Man: The Great Web and then the whole internal presentation. We first learned about the game as part of a big leak at the end of last year, when a group hacked the servers of the Insomniac Games studio. The project has since had to be cancelled.
The first trailer appeared online on Tuesday. Apparently this was part of an internal presentation. Now it has also appeared on the Internet and is very interesting. It features illustrations showing how the developers imagined New York City online and in the multiverse with different Spider-Men and Spider-Women. In addition to the usual criminals, players had to fight familiar villains, gradually improve their equipment and skills, and maybe even ride a motorcycle.
Each Spider-hero/heroine had to have their own strengths and weaknesses. We should have been able to change the spider’s face, body, hair or eye color. Insomniac Games planned to gradually expand the game and, among other things, add new villains, new story parts, new locations, other gadgets and skills, more costumes, and in the future, new game mechanics and Spider-Man.
