Krafton has this year PUBG: Battlegrounds big plans. Free Battle Royale event awaits transition to Unreal engine 5which, together with other new products, will take the game to a new level and offer players new gaming experiences throughout the year.
The main news is destroyed environment map. It will bring a new dynamic level of strategy and tactics to battle royales. Players will be able to destroy parts of buildings, as well as build protective barriers to open up new attack routes or safe zones. The first version of the destruction system will appear in the April/April update. The developers plan to constantly improve and expand the system.
This is related to this gameplay adjustments. Gunplay updates are planned to be released every two months to maintain a stable ecosystem and provide players with a greater variety of options. Gunplay LABS Arcade will serve as a platform for players to test and provide feedback on balance adjustments before they are implemented more widely into the main game.
The creators are also preparing survival items and special modes for everyday play.. These plans also include new gameplay systems and content that will heighten the tension and offer new challenges. Team vs System Team will allow players to work together with teammates and compete for performance against the opposing team, with rewards available for achieving team winning streaks.
It will be improved matchmaking, to ensure balance in regular matches and fairer competition between players of similar skill levels. Additionally, there is new content, features, skins, and collaborations with various brands. Last but not least, it comes down to improving the anti-fraud system.
