Czech game stores Xzone and JRC published their charts of best-selling games and consoles over the past month. Below you can see the games that sold the best in February.
XZone
In Xzone, the most successful was the second part of the Final Fantasy VII remake, subtitled Rebirth, followed in second place by the Czech strategy Last Train Home in the Legion edition. Third place was then taken by the role-playing game Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. Games like Helldivers 2, Skull & Bones, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League or Mario vs. Donkey Kong.
“Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth” was clearly one of the most anticipated games of the month, but because of this, Square Enix added another day to the calendar year. Pre-orders have generated even more player interest from the start than the first remake, and you can see the Final Fantasy fan base growing.” Xzone representatives spoke about the success of Final Fantasy.
We saw no surprises in the console rankings, which continue to be dominated by the PlayStation 5 in its new slim variant, followed by the still popular OLED version of the Nintendo Switch console.

The JRC has been particularly successful with older games, led by Grand Theft Auto V, which even returned to the top after a long hiatus. But the action role-playing game Hogwarts Legacy, the football simulator EA Sports FC 24, the immortal Minecraft or the PlayStation exclusive God of War: Ragnarök were also successful.
“The title regularly finds itself in the top ten most sought-after titles. But we didn’t expect him to take first place.” says JRC’s Petr Kratochvil about the surprising interest in GTA V, and also highlights the success of the recently released Helldivers 2 event: “This predominantly cooperative game has been very successful and the players know it very well, they pass information to each other, and because of this I have good sales.”
