A magnificent opus. That’s exactly how I would describe the original Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. In 2004, the game offered so many mechanics that many stealth games with survival elements would envy it even today. This story has been eclipsed by many Hollywood films. Being a prequel to the previous installments, the game attracted many newcomers who were simply amazed by what Hideo Kojima came up with and which could even be played on a second PlayStation. Although Kojima is no longer associated with either the brand or Konami, many were hoping for at least a remake. Behind him are former employees of Kojima himself. Thanks to this Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater exactly the remake that will please both complete newcomers and series veterans.

A tactical stealth game with survival elements, the plot of which takes place at the height of the Cold War. In this alternate history, CIA special forces called FOX are sent to a remote area of the Soviet Union to rescue a weapons expert and scientist. He is responsible for developing a special tank equipped with nuclear weapons; a tank powerful enough to end the Cold War. But the main character naked snake he was betrayed by his mentor Boss. He barely survives and sets out on a mission to rescue the scientists, uncover the conspiracy and, ultimately, the world.

Despite the fact that this game is over twenty years old, I will not reveal specific plot twists. But shame on you if you don’t know the history of the game. this is Jone of the strongest and best stories in the game in all respects. The plot moves between realism and light science fiction, where we see huge machines that can destroy the world, but at the same time old radios are used for communication. The enemies have superhuman abilities, but at the same time, one snake bite can kill you. So although this is a story with unrealistic elements, it still takes place in reality and is reminiscent of a real spy story in every way. I was surprised how well this story still works from a writing and directing standpoint after all these years. Every detail slowly makes sense and it all adds up to a great spy thriller. You’ll remember every other line, because both the antagonists and supporting characters are so brilliantly written that you’ll be glad to return to the game again just to relive the moments together.
