Following the results of yesterday’s Nacon Connect 2024 event, a full presentation of a new game from the Terminator universe took place. The title is called Terminator: Survivors and was created by Nacon Milan. We first learned about its existence from the introductory trailer back in 2022. Now, along with a new preview and full title reveal, we also get a release date that was scheduled for October 24, when it hits the Steam Early Access program. However, later the game will also be available to owners of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
Terminator: Survivors will offer a custom version for co-op play. open world survival experience, in which you play as survivors of the apocalypse. However, in a post-apocalyptic world with limited resources, the Terminators return, tasked with destroying the last remnants of humanity. The title is mainly based on the content of the first two films and takes place in 2009, before the creation of the Resistance Movement.
The developers also offer their own original story with familiar and completely new characters. In addition to the traditional mechanics of survival games, based on building and gradually improving your own base, the new Terminator will rely on first person shootouts, during which you’ll face both Terminators and human enemies. The game can be played alone or in co-op with up to four players.
