505 games dismisses again. The company has decided to reorganize its presence in Europe and is closing its offices in Germany, France and Germany.
This time the layoffs did not affect developers. These offices, some of which had been in operation for over 15 years, housed the marketing, communications and public relations departments. According to information from the Gamereactor server, the number of dismissals is about ten.
With this step 505 Games lost local representation in Europe. Only the head office in Milan and a branch in the UK remain. This research is also expected to influence marketing campaigns in selected regions.
In November/November, Digital Bros, owner of 505 Games, announced: dismissal of 30% of employees, mostly from development teams. The publishing division includes the creators of the Assetto Corsa series from Kunos Simulazioni, as well as the Brno studio Ingame, which created the robbery action Crime Boss: Rockay City with Hollywood stars. Additionally, 505 Games has released a PC version of Death Stranding and Control. However, in the case of the second game, the Finnish studio Remedy bought the rights from 505 Games and is preparing a sequel.
