Legendary ROCK from id Software has been thriving in the gaming market for 30 years, and over those few decades the 1993 original became famous, among other things, as a game that can be played or at least watched on any platform imaginable. Computers, consoles, mobile phones, calculators, printers, refrigerators, an oscilloscope, an ATM, a pregnancy test, an Excel spreadsheet, a Windows notepad, a modified LEGO building block, a garage full of rotting potatoes… Recently there have even been reports in the media about a theoretical possibility display game using animal cages. In principle, we can say that that any display usually has the ability to display an image and/or sufficient power, some fan already tried to get DOOM for this. Nevertheless, experiments sometimes turn out to be so unexpected. Especially if they are performed by a well-known, large company.
This time we mean Husqvarna. She recently announced that the classic Owners of select lawnmowers will soon be able to play DOOM. No kidding. In particular, a port of DOOM 1993 was announced for the Husqvarna Automower NERA line of robotic lawn mowers, on which the legendary shooter will become free thanks to a free update.
