After the return of the cult real-time strategy Age of Empires, which turned out great and even expanded the series with a completely new fourth part, it was the turn of Age of Mythology. This was already promised more than a year and a half ago. Today Microsoft presented and pleased her even more. Age of Mythology: Retelling it will be released this year on PC and Xbox (probably Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One). Also available same day on Game Pass. They are confirmed Czech subtitles.
Artistic director Melinda Rose shared some interesting facts about their work. Age of Mythology: Retelling final edition spin-off, so all the additions are bent in it. This can be compared to a remake. The game has an improved engine, more modern graphics, 3D models, new animations, new textures, a new user interface and new effects. Fans are sure to be impressed by the visual enhancements to the mythical units, gods, and monsters of the Greek, Egyptian, and Norse factions. In the video we were able to see more detailed models of Medusa, Pegasus and Cerberus.
In addition, there will be gameplay changes. Titans will become stronger at destroying walls and buildings and will be able to cross rivers and oceans. Thus, they will pose a greater threat to the inhabitants of the islands. It’s a shame we haven’t seen gameplay yet. We have to make do with pictures. They just look great.

Better with friends: Play with up to 11 friends, either one-on-one or against advanced AI, across dozens of randomly generated maps and scenarios with unlimited replayability.
