New edition of old Beyond good and evil was already expected in November/November last year. Finally, on the occasion of the game’s 20th anniversary, Ubisoft has confirmed a remastered version of the action-adventure game and promised an early 2024 release. It looks like they will stick to this deadline. This is evidenced by the new rating of the South Korean committee.
At the time of rating, the game is complete in content. Thus, a release within a month is quite likely. Ubisoft hasn’t announced a date, but insider and journalist Tom Henderson claims it will happen on March 5th. We have versions for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
Enjoy a nostalgic journey through the planet Hillis as action reporter Jade in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second with improved graphics, controls and sound. A nice innovation will be automatic saving and cross-saving.
Beyond Good & Evil was originally released in November 2003 on PC, GameCube, Xbox and PlayStation 2. An HD version was released in 2011. Beyond Good and Evil 2, which has problematic development. Hopefully it won’t be like Skull and Bones.
