Blackbird Interactive and Gearbox Publishing were the first to please fans by releasing a demo version Homeworld 3 as part of the ongoing Steam Next Fest. But now they are disappointed with another delay. The real-time strategy game has been postponed from March 8 to May 13 and will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store.

The additional time will allow developers to process feedback from external testing. Recently, a group of players were able to play the game. From them, the creators received important opinions that will help make Homeworld 3 the most enjoyable experience possible. The acceptance of the demo also contributed to this decision.

You can use the demo version with the mod on Steam until 12/02/2024. War games. In a roguelike-inspired mode, you’ll take on randomly selected missions as commanders in a fleet battle. The outcome can be decided by powerful artifacts that will add power, speed and better weapons to your ships. Based on the results, you will unlock new fleets that will influence your strategy in future battles. War Games allows up to three players to take on waves of enemies in a series of increasingly difficult skirmishes, with unlocked artifacts carrying over into the full version.

You can count on ray tracing, Nvidia DLSS 3 and AMD FSR 2.0. Denuvo’s anti-piracy protection was also confirmed.
