Earlier this week, The Day Before’s servers went down just 45 days after release. Since its release, Fntastic has been heavily criticized due to unmet expectations, a misleading marketing campaign, and poor technical condition. Player frustration is finally over downloading the game from Steam and closure of the study itself. Despite the formal end of the short life cycle of their enterprise, its developers again made a speech.

Studio Fntastic specifically about Twitter published a statement saying the game failed blames, in particular, “bloggers”. According to the developers, they waged a negative campaign against the game from the very beginning, although they were actually the only ones who profited from its existence. As a clear exception, the studio management singled out a famous streamer with the nickname Dr DisRespect, who was supposed to speak mostly positively about the game in his broadcasts. The authors also continue to deny reports of fraud and attempts to deceive players.

Remembering the previews presented before the release and from the very beginning, significantly unusual and suspicious studio communication but this statement is difficult to believe. The authors are trying to back up their words by trying to return money to all players who bought The Day Before. However, it is doubtful that Steam itself plays an important role in this process.
