French studio Don’t Nod introduces us to their future role-playing game in another short video. Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. In less than a minute, we have the opportunity to see how different the two heroes’ fighting styles are.
We will play as Red and Anti., two ghost hunters and lovers protecting people. However, during one mission, Anti is mortally wounded and becomes a ghost. Torn between their vow to protect the living from harmful spirits and Anthea’s dire condition, they travel to the terrifying deserts of North America to free her from her new plight… come what may.
We’ll be in this dark place combine weapons and supernatural abilities. A mixture of fighting styles awaits us. Red uses a rifle, sword and fireball, while his lover uses ethereal attacks and fists. We will gradually improve our arsenal and abilities in order to be able to withstand more and more malicious opponents.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden will release on February 13th on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Console versions are available not only digitally, but also in a box. Read on for our impressions of the gameplay, complete with interviews with the developers.
