Company Blizzard Entertainment this morning he informed Czech clients about the currency change. Battle.net in our territory it changes from euro to Czech crowns. The change will occur no earlier than 30 days after this notice.
“We’re always looking for new ways to make it easier for players around the world to purchase and manage their Battle.net accounts. As part of this effort, we regularly review which currencies we support and which new ones should be added. This can make it easier to enter payments and help reduce or eliminate the fees you pay to your card issuer for foreign currency transactions.” Blizzard explains this in an email.
If you have a balance in Euros on your Battle.net account, it will be converted to the equivalent amount in Czech Crowns when you change currency. Also for subscription World of Warcraft you will pay in crowns.
The Company will use the lseg.com spot exchange rate on the date of change. Unfortunately, we were unable to find the current Iseg rate through the link. We can only hope that everything goes fairly. In the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store we also buy in crowns, and the price is often slightly higher than the exchange rate (often by 100 and 200 crowns). On the contrary, the Epic Games Store is holding its course in crowns plus/minus. On Steam we buy for euros, on Ubisoft Connect and GOG the same.
As a reminder, Microsoft completed its acquisition of Activision Blizzard last year.
Thanks to the user for the email notification middle.
