The fan project is ending. Game translations. For nine years now, this community forum has brought together Czech and Slovak gamers who, in their spare time, localize games into their native language.
On March 31 this year, the portal will switch to read-only mode. You will still be able to upload translations, but registration will no longer work and only translators will be able to participate in discussions.
“On behalf of the entire team that has looked after this portal since its inception, we would like to thank you for your patronage. It was a long 9 years of our life. Sometimes everything ends so that something new can begin. On my behalf, as an operator, I want to thank all the people who contributed to the work of the entire portal, all the translators who contributed their work here, and all of you who decided to support us in any way. “ listed on the forum.
The appearance of a replacement was not long in coming. One of them is a new project from translation enthusiasts. Luc2as, Mikey, Jethro and Andrewek founded a closed group of translators on Facebook called Game translations.
“We still love it, and we intend to continue our classic service of high-quality game translations that you have become accustomed to from us until now. You will receive more detailed information soon. We focus on quality and in no case do we intend to follow the path of quantity, which will negatively affect the level of our translations.” the authors indicated what they translated, such as RoboCop: Rogue City, Alan Wake 2, Aliens: Dark Descent, Dune: Spice Wars, Lief of P, Jagged Alliance 3, Surviving the Aftermath or Civilization VI.
It seems that players and supporters of fan locations are not worried about the disappearance of groups that were on the forum. Instead, they are worried about a place where someone can help them with their problems, where they can socialize, etc. We can only wait to see what said party has planned.
