Currently expected shooter STALKER 2: The Heart of Chernobyl from the Ukrainian studio GSC Game World should be released in the first quarter of this year. Microsoft did not do this either, which bought from GSC the exclusivity of the Time console for Xbox Series X|S and the availability of Game Pass from the day of release, i.e. I can’t talk to the authors in development. This means, among other things, that it is also up to them when, where and in what form the game is shown. At the moment, for example, STALKER 2 is unlikely to appear on Developer_Direct on Thursday. It should belong only to so-called third-party titles from creative divisions owned directly by Microsoft, which, as already mentioned, neither the second STALKER nor the GSC Game World studio itself does.
