Xbox Developer Direct is back and happening next week

Last year we saw Microsoft’s first Developer Direct program. The format, in which several third-party studios presented upcoming games in more detail and in which we saw the shadow drop of Hi-Fi Rush, was received positively by players. So it’s no surprise that it’s returning this year, and after much speculation, an official announcement has finally arrived. The event will take place next Thursday January 18 at 21:00 Central European time.

At least four titles will be presented in the Direct. Specifically, we will see a game based on the series Indiana Jones from the studio MachineGames, which will be devoted to more than 10 minutes, and we should learn more about the setting, plot and gameplay, as well first gameplay trailer. Next up is a fantasy RPG Recognized from Obsidian, a turn-based strategy game in the style of Civilization Macaw: The Untold Story from Oxide Games and finally the long-awaited Nordic adventure Senua Saga: Hellblade 2 from Ninja Theory.

However, it is possible that, like last year, we will see some shadow. At the same time, Microsoft adds that while we won’t see any games from Activision Blizzard, which it recently owns, at the event, we can expect various news later this year.

You will be able to watch the Direct on YouTube or Twitch. Shortly after it ends, there will be an event dedicated to new content for The Elder Scrolls Online.
