According to Olifers, many factors played a role, including a strong fall season when AA games like Surgeon Simulator and I Am Bread came into their own. “We had to make the difficult decision to transform the studio to reflect the situation we found ourselves in at the end of the year and focus all our efforts on Lost Skies. This meant we were in the unfortunate situation of having to dissolve about a third of the studio, including some of our closest colleagues,” he says.

He adds that the studio is supporting all of the laid-off employees: “You’d be hard-pressed to find better game development people than Bossiani, who we have no hesitation in vouching for.”
