The release of the platformer and metroidvania Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is slowly approaching (new footage and gameplay were published just yesterday), two weeks are left until January 18, but the demo version can already be expected next week. But how does the game work on individual platforms? This is exactly what Ubisoft shared yesterday.

Let’s start with consoles, all of them only have one mode available. As for the latest generation, you can expect FullHD resolution and 60 frames per second on Xbox One, Xbox One S and PlayStation 4. The situation is similar on Nintendo Switch, where the game also offers 60 FPS, the resolution in docked mode is also 1080p, in portable 720p mode.

On the more powerful PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, the game has the same frame rate, but in 4K, on the Xbox Series S – at 1440p. Of course, the current generation mainstream consoles are the best, with the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X offering 4K resolution and 120 FPS, but you’ll need a 120Hz capable monitor/TV.

As for PC, most players will not have problems here either. For medium settings in FullHD resolution and 60 FPS, a GeForce GTX 950 or Radeon RX 5500 XT video card (4 GB of video memory) will be sufficient. With the same card from AMD, but in the 8 GB version, you can even think about Ultra settings at 4K and 60 FPS. An alternative from Nvidia is the popular GTX 1060 with 6 GB of video memory.

RAM (8 GB is enough) or a processor will also not be a problem if something a few years old is enough. For maximum settings, only an Intel Core i7-6700 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 is recommended. But you will definitely need an SSD, since HDD support is not indicated in the table. In this case, you should prepare 30 GB of space.

Finally, I can tell you that we have already received the game and you can look forward to its review on January 11th at 18:00. Specifically, we have a PC version, but I’m also testing it on the Steam Deck.
