Rising Lords is a turn-based strategy game in which you become the ruler of a kingdom that must be expanded to serve your interests. You can look forward to building a city that you control, recruiting giant armies, as well as working with your people. According to the creators, how you approach your supporters will have a big impact on the direction of your journey. Farmers may seem like harmless vermin at first glance, but if you poke them, they too can pull pitchforks out of their sheds. In addition to turn-based battles, the game also puts cards in front of you to work with.
You can play Rising Lords solo or in multiplayer mode where up to four players can battle it out. Mod support is also available here. The full version of this strategy will appear on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on January 18, 2024. Those interested will be able to test the demo version.
