The FOLON team has prepared a Christmas gift for Fallout 4 fans. This is the release date of the expected mod. Fans of post-apocalyptic adventures were disappointed by the large-scale modification. Aftermath: London it won’t be released this year. They will visit the devastated British metropolis in April.
Fallout: London will be available on April 23, 2024. The authors of the ambitious mod explain that in terms of content they are great, but do not want to underestimate the quality and accompanying tests. The testing process was significantly affected this year as a significant number of members came from the conflict-affected region.
Today we can head to London via the new trailer (at the top). In it, the creators show how much work they have done since the last time. The new location involves not only visual changes, but also new story as well as main missions and side quests (over 90,000 lines of spoken dialogue). Seven new factions will fight for London.
Fallout: London takes place in 2237 and is therefore set between the first and second parts of the series. Post-nuclear London will cover 15 districts of the iconic metropolis. There will be Big Ben, the ruins of the famous London Eye or the destroyed National Gallery. According to the developers, the map is about the same size as Fallout 4, including the Far Harbor expansion.
What’s also interesting about London is the information FEV hasn’t arrived here yet (Forced evolutionary virus). This means no traditional super mutants or Deathclaws. The American Vault-Tec has no influence here either. This means, among other things a very unique type of underground bunker. There’s not even the iconic Pip-Boy here. Instead you put a brand new one on your wrist Atta-Boywhich will most likely perform the same function.
Fallout: London will be available to download for free starting April 23, 2024. Requires the full version of Fallout 4, including all DLC, to play. By the way, other large modifications are being created for Fallout 4: Aftermath: Cascadia And Aftermath: Miami. Well, at least something when Bethesda apparently is not interested in creating a new part.
