This year’s moss event Amored Core 6: Fires of the Rubicon enriched with new interesting content. You can compete with other players in special ranked matches, as the trailer above beckons. So if you have a competitive spirit, you can do it right now and it’s either alone or with two teammates.
Ranking in Armored Core 6 is based on the principle of skill groups – unranked, D, C, B, A and S – through which players progress by gaining RP (points). Once you reach the appropriate number, you will enter what is called the “promotion phase”, during which you must win a certain number of matches before moving up to the next rank.
If you manage to rise to the highest rank, which is S, you will be ranked according to your abilities. “The top 100 players with S rank will have this reward displayed on their skill group icon,” the developers explained in a press release. Of course, ranks will reset from time to time. The first cancellation will take place on 02/29/2024.
The update, available for all platforms on which Armored Core 6 was released, also brought new maps for PvP mode. Individual weapons and items were then slightly buffed or downgraded to ensure adequate balance.
Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon can be played on PC and PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
