Dead Space is a masterful exploration of the sci-fi horror genre pioneered by films like Alien and Event Horizon. We were very happy when, after counting all the votes, it turned out that a Czech game was also included in our top ten games of this extremely busy year – and this is the first game of the new game studio. Last Train Home is a strategy game that tells the story of the harrowing journey home of Czechoslovak legionnaires after the First World War. The theme is interesting on its own, but the fun strategic gameplay also works well, which is a result of the overall care with which the authors created this unusual game. Let’s hope that the quality of this game will be appreciated by players from all over the world.
