The new release date is set for March 20, 2023. The game will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

The reason for the delay is that the well-being of the Pieces Interactive team is a top priority. Both parties want to avoid the potential stress of the Christmas holidays and enjoy the end of the year. THQ Nordic and Pieces Interactive are committed to ensuring that the game not only meets, but exceeds the community’s expectations.

“You will encounter strange denizens, nightmarish worlds, dangerous monsters, and ultimately discover conspiracies of growing evil. At the intersection of reality, mystery and madness, an adventure awaits you that will make you question what you believe deep inside. Who can you trust, what will you believe and what will you do next?” The description of the game beckons.

We experience this creepy adventure as two characters in a mental hospital where something very strange is happening. In the presentation we will play detective Edward Carnby. David Harborand (“Stranger Things”) and Emily Hartwood, whose role she really liked Jodie Comer (Free guy).

We’ll see if Alone in the Dark makes an appearance at The Game Awards 2023 tomorrow morning.
