Valve recently released its annual report. update for the first part of the Half-Life series, which brought a number of interesting new products and improvements. The game was also available for free on Steam for several days. The release of the above update decided to use a translator with the nickname Starsoul, who in a short period of time created an unofficial Czech localization of the game in the form of titles.

“This icon of the gaming industry is probably known to everyone, but no one has yet played it in Czech, except for the translated menu and internal informational subtitles in the game. The developers somehow did not insert subtitles into the game, so this drawback has to be solved with the help modem, where the texts run simultaneously with individual passages of voice acting in the game, so it’s a pretty neat solution.
In this latest version, unfortunately, even this mod made horses, so I improvised a bit. I translated the menu and internal subtitles again, and as for part of the subtitles, it is, unfortunately, the only one without diacritics. I hope that over time I will correct this unpleasant matter.” introduces the author to the recently published Czech edition, which you you can download for free on the website Prekladyher.eu. Below in the gallery you will find some images from the translated version.
