Updated version The Last of Us Part 2 For PlayStation 5 attracts fans not only with improved graphics, but especially with new game content in the form of cut game sequences and a new game mode.
But exactly how many will be in the game? Naughty Dog will be included in the remaster three unused levels. Their development was stopped at an early stage, so don’t expect ready-made space. Anyway, they are called Sewers, Jackson Party and Boar Hunt.
The titles of these game scenes indicate what we can expect. “Boar Hunt” will obviously have Ellie hunting a boar, “Sewer” could be longer and lead to fighting dangerous infected, and “Jackson’s Party” could offer more of a party where Ellie dances with Dina. Or before the party starts so we can explore Jackson more.
Some players find this not enough. The unfinished levels will be of particular interest to fans of the original second part of The Last of Us, as they contain more developer comments.
Then here it is new roguelike mode: “No return”. According to available information, it will take place over 12 different levels, where you will be tasked with surviving as long as possible against various enemies. Battles will take place in memorable places of the second part and will culminate in boss battles. You will be able to play as characters you have never played before. Dina, Jesse, Lev, Tommy and others should be on the list. It looks like you’ll have to play through the story campaign first to play as these heroes. Each character has unique game characteristics.
To conclude the news, the third attraction is Free Guitar Mode. In it you will take advantage of your musical potential and, fourthly, new ones. Speed running mode. Some may also be excited about the new unlockable character and weapon skins for Ellie and Abby.
The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered will be released on January 19, 2024 on PlayStation 5. with Czech subtitles. Owners of the PS4 version will be able to upgrade at a reduced price and keep their progress. The price will be 10 dollars/euro (about 250 CZK). Pre-orders begin December 5th. A PC version has not been announced at this time, although it is more than likely that the game will come to PC in the future when The Last of Us Part 1 is available there.
