Last week it was confirmed that the second season of the hit series The Last of Us will begin filming early next year. According to new data, there is a crew start work January 7which is expected to premiere sometime in 2025. It was previously confirmed that the second season, which will tell part of the story of The Last of Us Part II, will bring back the central acting duo of Pedro Pascal (Joel) and Bella Ramsey (Ellie).
But until now, a question mark hung over the cast of characters who did not appear in the first season due to the plot copying the events of the first game. Important characters in the second series include Abby, who, according to new information from film journalist Jeff Sneider Kaitlyn Dever could play. The American actress was previously in contention for the role of Ellie, which Neil Druckmann confirmed some time ago. Kaitlyn Dever has previously appeared in films such as Nobody Can Save You and Rosalyn, as well as the TV series Last Man Standing and Longing.
